Update: Lebanon | February 2021

“Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life.

Mark‬ ‭10:29-30‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Greetings in the mighty Name of Jesus!

Jesus promised His followers a multiplication of blessings. But He also warned them that, along with the blessings, there would also be trouble. He said that whoever followed Him would receive a hundredfold in this life with “persecutions” ( Mark 10:30). This is exactly what is happening in Lebanon now!

Just in the past 15-20 years, our ministry partners in the Middle East have been experiencing a revival like never before. Thousands have been saved, home churches are increasing in number, and Arabic churches have even been planted in several European countries as a result of this work. From the time of the “first revival”, when the Lord Jesus walked the Holy Land, we have not seen anything like this. Praise God!

Amidst the miracle of souls being saved, persecution has come in catastrophic proportion as told in Mark 10 by the Lord Jesus. Due to the previous and present wars in Lebanon and the surrounding countries, the collapse of Syria, coronavirus lockdowns, the depreciation of the Lebanese currency (one year ago $1=1500 Lira, now $1=8950 Lira), and the collapse of the banking system (depositors cannot withdraw their own money), the four million Lebanese, along with their two million refugee guests, are experiencing a “perfect storm.”

For the first time the Lebanese people, and the refugees whom they host, are in the same boat; they are all needy.

Throughout the last fifteen years, we have partnered with these successful ministries through prayer and sending resources. Our partners are engaged in compassionate ministries that provide the Gospel first and then food, shelter, heating oil, etc.

Now, more than ever, these partners need our help. Please prayerfully consider joining with us in this effort by making a donation.

Why should you help Lebanon now?

  1. The Great Commission: Matthew 28:19-20

  2. Strategy: Lebanon is very strategic for the Kingdom, especially due the freedoms we have there as believers.

  3. The Fruit: We have experienced reception of the Gospel in Lebanon like nowhere else in the entire Middle-East, near East, North Africa or Asia minor!

  4. Preparation for Jesus’ Return: We need to prepare the way of the Lord. Lebanon is a part of the Holy Land. The Church will come from Lebanon to welcome Jesus back in Jerusalem. He is coming soon.

“Come with me from Lebanon, my bride, come with me from Lebanon. Descend from the crest of Amana, from the top of Senir, the summit of Hermon, from the lions’ dens and the mountain haunts of leopards.”

‭‭Song of Songs‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Thank you for joining with us in prayer and through the giving of your resources.
