Ministry Report – From Conflict to Hope: God's Hand at Work

Dear Brothers,
The situation in the Middle East is improving in remarkable ways. If you have been following the region since October 7, 2023, you can see that, despite the pain and destruction, significant changes are taking place.
As a Lebanese, I never imagined I would witness some of what is happening today. In just the past few weeks, there has been growing discussion about a future of peace between Lebanon and Israel, something that once seemed impossible. Syria has undergone dramatic political changes, and Iraq is engaging more openly with the United States. Across the region, the influence of the Iranian regime in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Gaza, and Yemen has weakened considerably. Many people are experiencing a new sense of hope and freedom after years of outside interference in their internal affairs.
We believe many of our prayers are being answered. Despite the hardships, many believers throughout the Middle East are encouraged that this could mark the beginning of a new chapter of peace and stability.
Most exciting of all, the Lord is at work. The Church is growing stronger, believers are uniting in prayer for peace, and many people are coming to faith in JESUS CHRIST. I continue to receive reports and pictures of baptisms and new believers from across the Middle East. The Kingdom of God is advancing.
Please continue praying that God will establish lasting peace throughout the region. We long to see open borders that will allow the Church to move freely with the Gospel. We especially pray for Lebanon, where we are witnessing a wonderful spiritual awakening and a growing hunger for God's Word.
As Isaiah prophesied:
"In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will go to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria... Blessed be Egypt My people, Assyria My handiwork, and Israel My inheritance." (Isaiah 19:23–25)
May the Lord continue to accomplish His purposes and bring many to Himself.
