Ministry Report – Lebanon & the Middle East: Light in the Midst of War

Dear brothers and sisters,

What you are about to see in these photos is nothing short of a miracle.

While war continues to escalate across Lebanon, and nearly 1,000,000 people have been displaced, the Church is not retreating—it is advancing.

Our partners on the ground—especially in Beirut, Sidon, and Tyre—are carrying an extraordinary burden. They are hosting hundreds of displaced families in churches, schools, and ministry centers. Every day, they are serving thousands of people, providing food, shelter, mattresses, blankets, hygiene supplies, and medical care—all while enduring the same hardships themselves.

In the south, the situation is even more severe.

Approximately 150,000 people remain trapped south of the Litani River, including many Christian communities in towns like Marjeyoun and Rmeish. With bridges destroyed and access cut off, these areas are isolated—caught between opposing forces, with little to no supply routes remaining.

But here is the good news:

In the middle of all this suffering… people are coming to Jesus.

This past Sunday, Tyre Church baptized 14 new believers, all from Muslim backgrounds. Many of them are refugees—people who lost everything, yet found new life in Christ through the love and compassion shown by the Church.

This is truly a miracle.

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” (John 1:5)

Please continue to pray:

- For protection over our brothers and sisters

- For those trapped in the south

- For provision as they serve thousands daily

- And for many more to come to salvation through Jesus

Even in war… God is saving lives—eternally.

With love and faith,

Kalim Andraos
